Epilepsy affects 112,700 young people in the UK and is one of the most common serious long term conditions in childhood. At Young Epilepsy, we advocate for positive change in attitudes across society and towards greater understanding of the condition. We campaign for improved specialist support for children, young people and their families in our health, education and social care systems. We exist to create a society where children and young people with epilepsy are enabled to thrive and fulfil their potential and a society in which their voices are respected and their ambitions realised.
