Who we are
We believe we’re stronger united, so we partner with organisations that help us create real change for the better. We have laid deep foundations across Britain – in some of our greatest institutions – so our communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential. We’re here to support those who can’t yet be themselves.
What we do
Individuals make change happen. We will support individuals to work out how they can make a difference for LGBT people at work, home and in their communities. We will equip people with the tools and confidence to connect with, influence and enable others in their communities, by challenging homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying, celebrating difference and improving inclusion and visibility of role models. We will empower people of all ages and backgrounds to be role models and allies wherever they live, work, shop, socialise and pray. We will support them, and the people they reach, to be themselves and achieve their full potential.
Why we need you
Fundraising is a great way to engage your lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans staff and demonstrate how your organisation is committed to supporting and improving the lives of LGBT people. There are lots of ways that you can get involved in supporting Stonewall throughout the year. Whether it’s getting a group together to take part in a sponsored run or challenge, holding a skills swap raffle in your office, or choosing us as your Charity of the Year.
Raising money for your tandem skydive via an online fundraising page makes it quick and simple for your friends and family to support you. You can share the link to your fundraising page via your social media pages and through texts and emails. If you haven't done so already click through now and set-up your page.
fundraising ideasA list of charities that we are partnered with are here for you to select. Some of the charities that we work with have fundraising targets and others are self-funded by yourself, each charity we work with will state if they will contribute to some of your jump cost or if you need to self-fund your own place.
You can book individually or as a group with just a £50 deposit per person on any operational day. Some of the charities we work with have reserved spaces on pre-selected days that you are more than welcome to join.
OK you’re all set – This is now the time to start fundraising for your selected charity, we recommend to set up an online fundraising page as all funds you raise will automatically go to the charity of your choice. Please remember you are unable to use any money raised to pay for your skydive and if you have a target set by the charity you have to hit this 3 weeks before the date of your jump to ensure these funds are online for the charity to see!
Charity not listed? Not a problem...
If your charity is not listed you can still book an independent charity skydive.
