Who we are
Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who care about their community.
What we do
We have been going for over 6 years, are as committed as ever to loving and serving our city. We love meeting people all times of the day and night! We are out day, evening and night at schools and universities, in parks and local communities and in the night time economy in the city centre. Patrols take place during the week at schools and at weekends.
Why we need you
Southampton Street Pastors are out various times of the day, evening and night offering reassurance, safety and support through listening, caring and helping. Last year we helped over 7000 times and our trained volunteers have given over 30,000 hours of their time to love and care for the people of Southampton, walking a staggering 23,000 miles in the process.
