Why Should Skydiving Be One of Your Resolutions this Year

Posted: 13th January 2020

How many of you are already sat reflecting on those resolutions you set a few days back and thinking you haven't stepped foot in the gym yet or those Christmas chocolates won't finish themselves? Many miss off the great feeling of satisfaction when you achieve something new on their lists and truth be told sometimes they're the easiest to stick too. Resolutions don't have to always be long-term and feel unrealistic. In fact, skydiving often finds itself on many people's resolution/bucket lists; not just the thrill-seekers!

This year, we're challenging you to a different type of resolution. You can accomplish a lot more than you think by taking that leap with us! It's not too late to do something amazing, if your resolutions aren't going to plan.

1. Overcome Your Fear
A lot of people tend to opt for keeping their feet firmly on the ground compared to a family or friend that's taking to the skies. Fear is what holds us back from moving beyond our normal levels of comfort. Many say their nerves get the better of them, however we've devised a resource to help 'Overcome Your Fears'.

2. Giving You Passion
When individuals start building lists they tend to feel unrealistic and studies show within three months of the year, up to 80% of people have already failed to stick to their resolutions. However, by including skydiving on your list, it inspires individuals and can create the feeling that they really can do anything!

3. Makes You Feel Happier
There are many positive effects of skydiving. You may or may not be familiar with endorphins, but think back to the time where you had that tingly, euphoric sensation that flooded your body and left you walking on cloud nine. That's probably the best way to describe the feeling once you've landed from your skydive.
