Who we are:

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is an independent charity with 12 Houses across the UK. These Houses provides free accommodation to families whilst their children are being treated in a number of specialised children’s hospitals.

What we do:

When a child is in hospital their family can often be faced with having to travel long distances each day and either pay for costly hotel rooms or sleep on a chair at their bedside. Our Houses provide our families with a comfortable place to stay that’s close to their child, giving them more time and energy to focus on being together.

Why we need you:

As an independent charity, we rely on the support and generosity of our volunteers, fundraisers and donors, and thanks to their tireless efforts the Houses are able to help over 6,000 families each year. It is our mission to ensure we have sufficient funds and expertise to develop and sustain free accommodation at every specialist children’s hospital in the UK. This will allow us to help thousands more families stay together, while their child is in hospital, in the years to come.
