In 2018, Dean Stott will undertake his most audacious challenge to date, when he plans to cycle the entire length of the Pan-American highway. The current world record stands at 117 days, Dean who until six months ago had done very little cycling, aims to beat that. Aside from the arduous training schedule between now and then, Dean will have to deal with multiple border crossings, extreme weather and the mental challenge of knowing that when he sets off, he faces at least three months in the saddle in his bid to pedal 14000 miles. Dean’s strength of mind, and his unstoppable thirst for a challenge is what has got him where he is today. There’s every chance that this could be the hardest challenge Dean has ever faced. Dean is currently in talks with a number of television production companies in relation to this epic challenge. With the backing of Prince Harry and the Heads Together foundation, Dean intends to not only smash the current record, but he is also aiming to raise one million pounds for charity in doing so.

You can help Dean reach his target to raise one million pounds for Heads Together by getting involved in the PAH18/Heads Together skydive event on 10th September 2017.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are spearheading the Heads Together campaign to end stigma around mental health. Heads Together aims to change the national conversation on mental health and well being, and is a partnership with inspiring charities with decades of experience in tackling stigma, raising awareness, and providing vital help for people with mental health challenges.

There has been huge progress made to tackle stigma surrounding mental health in recent decades, but it still remains a key issue driven by negative associations, experience and language. Through this campaign, Their Royal Highness’s are keen to build on the great work that is already taking place across the country, to ensure that people feel comfortable with their everyday mental well being, feel able to support their friends and families through difficult times, and that stigma no longer prevents people getting help they need.

Dean took a step back from the security industry decided he wanted to take on a new challenge, a challenge that would see him pushed both physically and mentally.

In a conversation with Prince Harry, Dean was introduced to Heads Together, a mental health campaign driven by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry himself. Dean has suffered his own share of issues both within himself and people around him. He has seen first hand the devastating effects of Post Traumatic Stress, as well as having close connections with many other mental health problems. The common factor being the stigma surrounding them.

Dean knew to make a change he had to do something big. You too can do something big to support Dean’s huge effort by taking part in the PAH18/Heads Together Skydive challenge.

A list of charities that we are partnered with are here for you to select. Some of the charities that we work with have fundraising targets and others are self-funded by yourself, each charity we work with will state if they will contribute to some of your jump cost or if you need to self-fund your own place.

You can book individually or as a group with just a £50 deposit per person on any operational day. Some of the charities we work with have reserved spaces on pre-selected days that you are more than welcome to join.

OK you’re all set – This is now the time to start fundraising for your selected charity, we recommend to set up an online fundraising page as all funds you raise will automatically go to the charity of your choice. Please remember you are unable to use any money raised to pay for your skydive and if you have a target set by the charity you have to hit this 3 weeks before the date of your jump to ensure these funds are online for the charity to see!

Charity not listed? Not a problem...
