Who we are:
Off the Record Bristol (OTR) is a mental health social movement by and for young people.
What we do:
The organisation provides mental health support and info to young people aged 11-25 across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
OTR also provides specialist support for anyone identifying as LGBTQ+ and young people experiencing bullying, self-harm or wanting to campaign against mental health stigma.
OTR’s services are free, confidential, self-referral and provide a variety of support projects to combat mental and emotional health needs such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, OCD, abuse, eating issues and family/relationship problems.
OTR sees mental health much like physical health – it needs to be looked after and maintained. Young people are invited to sign-up for OTR’s various services online at otrbristol.org.uk, or drop-in to one of OTR’s hubs – an informal space to learn more about what we do.
OTR works in schools, colleges and youth clubs to promote good mental health and provide tips and tricks for young people to look after their wellbeing. One of OTR’s projects, The Resilience Lab, provides stress-busting group workshops sharing guidance on how to deal with life’s ups and downs.
Why we need you:
All of OTR’s services are free for young people. To help us to continue providing our services, and innovating in the way we support young people’s mental health, donations and fundraising events supporting OTR are very much appreciated and encouraged!
Raising money for your tandem skydive via an online fundraising page makes it quick and simple for your friends and family to support you. You can share the link to your fundraising page via your social media pages and through texts and emails. If you haven't done so already click through now and set-up your page.
fundraising ideasA list of charities that we are partnered with are here for you to select. Some of the charities that we work with have fundraising targets and others are self-funded by yourself, each charity we work with will state if they will contribute to some of your jump cost or if you need to self-fund your own place.
You can book individually or as a group with just a £50 deposit per person on any operational day. Some of the charities we work with have reserved spaces on pre-selected days that you are more than welcome to join.
OK you’re all set – This is now the time to start fundraising for your selected charity, we recommend to set up an online fundraising page as all funds you raise will automatically go to the charity of your choice. Please remember you are unable to use any money raised to pay for your skydive and if you have a target set by the charity you have to hit this 3 weeks before the date of your jump to ensure these funds are online for the charity to see!
Charity not listed? Not a problem...
If your charity is not listed you can still book an independent charity skydive.
