Who we are:

Mission Rabies is a UK-based charity working to eliminate rabies by 2030. Rabies still kills 59,000 people annually, despite being 100% vaccine preventable and results in the inhumane or indiscriminate deaths of thousands more dogs, whose communities are left with no other option.

What we do:

Following World Health Organisation guidelines, we run mass canine vaccination programmes in India, Malawi, Sri Lanka and Tanzania; because 99% of all human rabies cases come from dogs, this method is the most effective way of preventing and eliminating rabies. Alongside our vaccination work, we run lifesaving education programmes, as well as conducting original scientific research.

Why we need you:

Each rabies death is a needless one – the virus is 100% vaccine preventable and Mission Rabies is putting knowledge into practice to show that rabies can be beaten.
