Who We Are?

Headway Swindon support adults with traumatic and acquired brain injuries. Our aim is to enable brain injury survivors to regain and relearn skills that have become impaired as a result of a brain injury and provide them with support and advice.

What We Do?

Headway Swindon is committed to making a positive change in the lives of people with a brain injury, their families and their carers by providing help, information and ongoing support.

We listen to those with brain injuries to find out what’s important to them and then provide a tailored Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy programme of tasks and activities to help them achieve their goals.

At Headway Swindon, people with brain injuries come first and are valued and respected. We are committed to helping each and every one reach their full potential so that they can be themselves and live as independent lives as possible.

We believe that all brain injuries matter – no injury is too slight to ignore or too severe to lose hope. Everyone recovers at their own pace and some people can continue to develop new pathways in their brain for many years after injury.

Headway Swindon is committed to raising public and professional awareness of acquired brain injury and the needs of people with brain injuries, their families and their carers.

Why We Need You?

Headway Swindon could not operate without the generous support of our fundraisers, donors and volunteers, to whom we are really grateful. Every penny raised is important to us to ensure we can provide the best rehabilitation service to those affected by brain injury.

1. SELECT A CHARITY

A list of charities that we are partnered with are here for you to select. Some of the charities that we work with have fundraising targets and others are self-funded by yourself, each charity we work with will state if they will contribute to some of your jump cost or if you need to self-fund your own place.

2. BOOK YOUR SKYDIVE

You can book individually or as a group with just a £50 deposit per person on any operational day. Some of the charities we work with have reserved spaces on pre-selected days that you are more than welcome to join.

3. START FUNDRAISING

OK you’re all set – This is now the time to start fundraising for your selected charity, we recommend to set up an online fundraising page as all funds you raise will automatically go to the charity of your choice. Please remember you are unable to use any money raised to pay for your skydive and if you have a target set by the charity you have to hit this 3 weeks before the date of your jump to ensure these funds are online for the charity to see!

Charity not listed? Not a problem...

If your charity is not listed you can still book an independent charity skydive.
