Who we are:

“Over the last 21 years Dentaid has worked in more than 70 countries providing safe, free dental care for people who have no other access to treatment.

The charity supports dentists by providing reconditioned and portable equipment and runs oral health and tooth brushing programmes in many of the world’s poorest and most remote communities.  We recently launched new projects in the refugee camps in Greece and Dentaid volunteers have helped thousands of refugees who were suffering dental pain.

Dentaid also works in the UK with a BrightBites schools’ programme and a mobile dental unit that visits homeless shelters and day centres offering dental care for vulnerable people.

What we do:

Work all over the world, providing emergency dental care as well as equipment.

Why we need you: 

Dentaid rely on the kind donations of their supporters, without the fundraising efforts and teams of volunteers, thousands a year would be left in dental pain across the world.

By taking part in activities such as Skydiving, fundraisers are helping to send things like a mobile dental unit or local dentists to areas that currently have no dental provision. By doing so it will make a huge difference to people’s lives who previously saw no relief from oral health conditions and lots of pain.
