Who we are:

CADASIL Support UK provides support and friendly social contact to all who have Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy, their families and carers. Areas include but are not limited to, England, Scotland & Wales.

What we do: 

We run a social media support group as well as raising awareness on several social media platforms. Our aims are to grow the Charity and lobby Parliament so CADASIL is a recognised disability with the DWP and other organisations. We need more medical professionals aware to ensure early diagnosis so the correct treatment is given – this in turn will save the NHS money and hopefully gain more money into research.

Why we need you:

We would like to raise awareness of the disease as people are often misdiagnosed with MS. Recent studies show as many as 1 in 300 may have the gene abnormality.
