Who we are:

Brighter Futures is the registered charity of Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and supports services at Great Western Hospital in Swindon and in our community sites across Wiltshire, including Savernake Hospital in Marlborough, Chippenham Hospital and Malmesbury Health Centre.

We aim to raise funds to support an extraordinary provision of care to our patients.

What we do:

Our charity funds the purchase of equipment, supports education for our staff, and improves the environment for our staff and patients – all of which are over and above the existing NHS budget.

Our vision is to provide the best care possible to our patients, their families and visitors to the Trust.

Why we need you:

We rely completely on the generosity of our supporters to enable us to provide extraordinary provision of care. The extraordinary happens every day with the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. From receiving emergency treatment in the Great Western Hospital’s A&E department, welcoming your first child in the White Horse maternity suite, getting the special support needed in the Special Care Baby Unit, supporting an elderly loved one, receiving chemotherapy treatment via the Mobile Chemotherapy Unit, being supported at home by our community health service or receiving cutting-edge 3D printed technology for a complex hip replacement. We’re transforming lives daily in and around Swindon and North Wiltshire.

1. SELECT A CHARITY

A list of charities that we are partnered with are here for you to select. Some of the charities that we work with have fundraising targets and others are self-funded by yourself, each charity we work with will state if they will contribute to some of your jump cost or if you need to self-fund your own place.

2. BOOK YOUR SKYDIVE

You can book individually or as a group with just a £50 deposit per person on any operational day. Some of the charities we work with have reserved spaces on pre-selected days that you are more than welcome to join.

3. START FUNDRAISING

OK you’re all set – This is now the time to start fundraising for your selected charity, we recommend to set up an online fundraising page as all funds you raise will automatically go to the charity of your choice. Please remember you are unable to use any money raised to pay for your skydive and if you have a target set by the charity you have to hit this 3 weeks before the date of your jump to ensure these funds are online for the charity to see!
